Cox Makes Final Stop On “Connecting Utah” Tour

(Herriman, UT) — Governor Cox is wrapping up his “Connecting Utah” tour with a stop at a high school in Herriman. The governor spoke to students at Mountain Ridge High School yesterday, telling them that they are not helpless when it comes to fixing the problems the world currently faces. Cox has been meeting with students in every county during his speaking tour, answering questions and asking them to describe the United States using only one word. Cox said the word he heard most from students is “divided,” with ten negative descriptions for each positive word offered. He tried to give the students a positive message, saying that Americans can disagree without hating each other and can use those disagreements to create a better country.
