The Sanpete County Commission approved $15,000 to help a group of women launch a county wide chamber of commerce. The one-time funding took place at a meeting on Tuesday October 17. The commerce plans on holding several events in 2024, including a health fair, movie in the park and golf tournament. For now the commerce plans on supporting local businesses and promoting a “Shop Local” campaign.
