(Salt Lake City, UT) – Legislation that would ban drivers from taking “selfies” while driving is moving to the full Utah Senate. SB 102 from Republican State Senator Chris Wilson would add video and photographs while driving to the list of offenses under the state’s distracted driving law. Wilson says the bill is necessary as more people post videos on social media websites talking about their lives, all while they are behind the wheel.
