An arrest has been made in the petroglyph cultural site vandalism in Kane County. According to the Bureau of Land Management, “thanks to widespread support and vigilance, an arrest was made…the suspect was taken into custody on Nov. 30 on felony charges in St. George by BLM law enforcement.” The suspect, identified as Daniela Ganassim Ericksen, remains in custody in Washington County. The BLM shared, “we’re appreciative of those members of the public who took time to report the incident, those who came forward with information that led to the arrest, and the news media who covered the story. Your collective efforts made a significant impact in the case.”
