(Cedar City, UT) — A seven-year-old boy from Cedar City is now in a hospital after he was hit by an SUV. He was riding a scooter on North Field Road yesterday morning when he was stuck as a driver pulled out of a parking spot. The child suffered head trauma and was pinned under the vehicle. KSL says first responders performed life-saving measures. He was flown to Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City for advanced care. Last week in West Jordan, a 12-year-old boy suffered brain injuries after he was hit by an SUV while riding a scooter. Two days ago in Ogden, a 14-year-old boy was hit while riding a minibike.
