The woman whose traffic stop in Sanpete County eventually led to the discovery of the bodies of two missing teens has pleaded guilty to multiple charges in connection with that traffic stop. Morgan Reannion Henderson appeared in Sixth District Court on Wednesday and entered her guilty pleas to possession of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person, a 3rd degree felony; a second weapons possession charge, a class A misdemeanor; as well as possession of a controlled substance, driving on a denied license, and open container. Six other charges were dismissed. Judge Wallace Lee scheduled sentencing for June 20 and ordered Adult Probation and Parole to perform a pre-sentence investigation. Henderson is facing charges in Utah County in relation to the murders of Rylie Powell and “Breezy” Ottoson whose bodies were found in an abandoned mine earlier this year. Henderson’s boyfriend, 41-year old Jerrod Baum, is facing murder charges in connection with their deaths. The traffic stop in Sanpete resulted in investigators learning Henderson had seen the teens the night they disappeared in December 2017, and eventually she confessed she had been there when Baum allegedly murdered the two and disposed of their bodies.
