EPHRAIM, Utah-Snow College freshman women’s basketball standout Japrix Weaver was named the Scenic West Athletic Conference Player of the Week after leading the Badgers to wins over USU-Eastern Utah (61-39) and Colorado Northwestern (87-62) last week.

In these wins, Weaver, a star guard/forward out of Cedar City High School, averaged 25.5 points per game for the 11-3 (6-2 in SWAC play) Badgers.

Snow returns to action this week for a Thursday game at Salt Lake Community College and a Saturday tilt at Twin Falls, Idaho against the College of Southern Idaho Golden Eagles.
