Sanpete County has approved a budget of $16.6 million. While most local government institutions in Utah are seeing a decline in revenue, the county is expecting a two percent raise from last years $16.2 million.
Taxes are expected to account for about 50 percent of the counties revenue.
Several projects the county plans to use the funds on include roads, building inspection, zoning, data processing, weed control and economic development.
