SALINA, Utah-Connor Holroyd posted 14 points and 8 rebounds on 7-9 from the field as the Richfield Wildcats overpowered North Sevier 63-47 Tuesday in non-region boys basketball action. Max Robinson’s 16 points on 6-12 from the field led the Wildcats, who shot 54 percent (27-50) from the field to improve to 5-5. Kasey Giddings added 13 points on 6-11 from the field in victory for Richfield. Ethan Fielding’s 12 points led North Sevier while Marshall Okerlund added 11 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds in defeat for the Wolves, dropping them to 2-4.

Richfield returns to action Friday by commencing the Region 12 season at Emery. North Sevier is back in action Wednesday evening at home as they host Beaver. Both of these games will be Mid-Utah Radio Sports Network broadcasts.

Reigon 14

SPANISH FORK, Utah-Kenadi Morrill netted 16 points and the ALA Eagles drilled North Sanpete 52-43 in Region 14 girls basketball action Tuesday. Emily Strait had 14 points for the Hawks in the loss.

Region 20

PANGUITCH, Utah-Kyan Orton stepped up with 16 points, including three 3-pointers as the Panguitch Bobcats humbled Bryce Valley 42-33 Tuesday in Region 20 girls basketball action. Brooklyn Syrett had a game-high 26 points for the Mustangs in defeat.

MILFORD, Utah-Kinley Spaulding’s 17 points led the way as the Milford Tigers doubled up Escalante 46-23 in Region 20 girls basketball action Tuesday. Mikki Prows had 10 points for the Moquis in the loss.

HILDALE, Utah-Allee VanDyke and Hanna Williams had 17 points apiece as the Wayne Badgers routed Water Canyon 57-40 Tuesday in Region 20 girls basketball action. Melissa Jessop had 33 points in defeat for the Wildcats.

ORDERVILLE, Utah-Esther Cox had 14 points and the Valley Buffaloes edged Piute 37-35 in Region 20 girls basketball action Tuesday. Ashton Winckel’s 10 points led the Thunderbirds in the loss.

Non-Region

RICHFIELD, Utah-Rebecca Poulsen posted 17 points, including five 3-pointers, as the Richfield Wildcats pounded Millard 56-26 in non-region girls basketball Tuesday. Paige Cummings had 7 points for the Eagles in the loss.

SARATOGA SPRINGS, Utah-Jill Lungren’s 12 points and 4 steals led the way as Westlake outlasted Beaver 41-38 Tuesday in non-region girls basketball action. Halle Hutchings had 14 points in defeat for the Beavers.

GUNNISON, Utah-Kayzia Caldwell amassed 18 points, including four 3-pointers, as the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs routed Draper APA 54-26 in non-region girls basketball action Tuesday. Riley Bluth’s 7 points led the Eagles in defeat.
