Whittni Orton, Anna Camp, Help Lead BYU Cross Country Women To Victory At Oklahoma State

STILLWATER, Okla.-Saturday, BYU men’s and women’s cross country competed for the first time in the fall season and a pair of Mid-Utah Radio Sports Network school alums powered the female Cougars to victory at the OSU Invitational hosted by Oklahoma State University.

Former Panguitch High School star, Whittni Orton helped the Cougars post a score of 23 by placing first overall in a time of 20:27.80.

Her fellow senior, former Millard High School star Anna Camp-Bennett, placed seventh overall in a time of 21:27.40.

Orton, Camp, and their BYU teammates competed against fellow Utah squad Southern Utah, host Oklahoma State, Kansas State, Texas at El Paso, Oklahoma and NCAA Division II Oklahoma Christian.

It remains to be seen when Orton and Camp and their teammates will compete again.
