In the early hours of June 26, three horses were shot in Millard County with one later succumbing to its injuries.

In a post on the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food’s Facebook page, they encouraged anyone with information about the incident to report it to the Millard Sheriff’s Office at (435) 743-5302 or to the UDAF Director of Animal Industry, Leann Hunnting at (385) 290-2383.

The post went on to state that “harming livestock is a crime and will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.”
