WASHINGTON-Tuesday, United States president Donald Trump again expressed his optimism that the coronavirus can be vanquished sooner rather than later during his White House briefing.
Because New York state remains the hardest-hit state by COVID-19 since its outbreak in the United States, the Javits Center in Manhattan has been turned into a temporary hospital.
Trump confirmed four additional hospitals are to be constructed in New York state with additional hospitals also being constructed at Los Angeles and various places n Washington state.
Trump also reiterated his statements on Twitter from earlier Tuesday by confirming Easter Sunday, April 12, is his target for the country to get back on its feet.
Trump concluded his statements by saying the US should never be dependent upon foreign countries and that manufacturers, such as Chicago-based Boeing, must be helped.
White House coronavirus task force response coordinator Dr. Deborah Birx then spoke. She confirmed that until a 24-hour cycle of COVID-19 occurs, the numbers will be disproportionate. She stated 370,000 tests have confirmed and the most effective way for a test for the malady to occur is to take a sample on the front of your nose.
Dr. Anthony Fauci of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases succinctly stated that a light needs to occur on the dark spots and that self-isolation should occur for two weeks for those who have been afflicted.
