After investigating multiple vehicle and residential burglary cases in Cedar City, Police think they now have a suspect in custody.

Scott Beckwith of Las Vegas was arrested Thursday after a Walmart employee in Cedar City recognized the suspect and called police.

Officers located numerous stolen items including credit, debit and gift cards. They also found social security cards, a revolver, binoculars, knives and stereo headphones.

According to investigators, those living in the lamplight subdivision and Highland Drive area who have been the victim of a burglary in the past month should contact the police to possibly get their property back.
