CEDAR CITY, Utah-Monday, Southern Utah University men’s basketball announced the signing of transfer Yuat Alok.

The 6-11 center comes to the Thunderbirds’ program from Central Florida while the Kenyan-born New Zealander has previous stints at Chipola C.C. (Fla.) and Texas Christian University in addition to UCF.

Alok averaged 12.3 points and 7 rebounds per game while shooting 55.1 percent from the field and 81.6 percent from the foul line for Chipola.

After leaving the Indians’ program, Alok netted 3.3 points and 2.5 rebounds per game for the Horned Frogs en route to UCF before showing up at SUU Monday.

Alok will be eligible to play for the Thunderbirds next season.
