MANTI, Utah-Conner Christiansen stepped up with 23 points and the Manti Templars pounded ALA 90-64 in Region 14 boys basketball action Saturday. Marcus Kemp’s 24 points led the Eagles in defeat.

ROOSEVELT, Utah-Dallon Steadman posted 21 points and the North Sanpete Hawks edged Union 56-53 Saturday in Region 14 boys basketball action. Jaden Gardner’s 19 points led the Cougars in the loss.

Smithfield Classic

MILFORD, Utah-Kyden Peters’ 15 points led the way and the Milford Tigers clobbered Tintic 61-40 at the Smithfield Classic Saturday at Milford High School. Gavin Campbell had 14 points in the loss to lead the Miners.

BEAVER, Utah-The American Heritage Patriots downed Beaver 47-42 at Beaver High School Saturday.

Hodson Classic

CEDAR CITY, Utah-The Cedar City Reds routed the South Sevier Rams 60-43 Saturday to conclude the Hodson Classic.

Cowboy Classic

KANAB, Utah-The Kanab Cowboys overpowered North Sevier 58-43 Saturday at the Cowboy Classic at Kanab High School.

Girls Basketball

Region 14

SPANISH FORK, Utah-Katie Larsen stepped up with 18 points and the Manti Templars doubled up ALA 60-30 in Region 14 girls basketball action Saturday. Megan Edwards had 19 points in defeat for the Eagles.

Hodson Cancer Classic

CEDAR CITY, Utah-Brittany Grover and Madison Palmer had 8 points apiece as the San Juan Broncos edged Bryce Valley 37-34 Saturday at the Hodson Cancer Classic at Cedar City High School. Brooklyn Syrett’s game-high 14 points led the Mustangs in defeat.

KAMAS, Utah-The Millard Eagles overpowered South Summit 56-46 Saturday in non-region girls basketball action.
