PANGUITCH, Utah-Kelby Jessen netted 25 points and the Piute Thunderbirds downed Panguitch 41-35 in Region 20 boys basketball action Thursday. Kyler Bennett, Paxton Wolfley and Ryker Hatch had 10 points apiece in the loss for the Bobcats.
ORDERVILLE, Utah-Gavin Hoyt posted 28 points and the Valley Buffaloes routed Water Canyon 73-56 Thursday in Region 20 boys basketball action. Joseph Jessop’s 25 points led the Wildcats in defeat.
HURRICANE, Utah-The Milford Tigers got past Diamond Ranch 61-57 Thursday in Region 20 boys basketball action.

GARLAND, Utah-The South Summit Wildcats routed the North Sanpete Hawks 64-43 Thursday at the Bear River Winter Classic.

OREM, Utah-Caleb Lohner posted 30 points as the Wasatch Academy Tigers clobbered the Queen Creek (Ariz.) Bulldogs 107-49 Thursday at the ProLook Shootout at Orem High School.
Non-Region
SPANISH FORK, Utah-Hunter McGuire and Zac Argyle had 14 points apiece and the Spanish Fork Dons pounded Millard 73-39 Thursday in non-region boys basketball action. Kael Myers had 11 points in the loss for the Eagles.

Desert Hills Holiday Classic
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Amber Kartchner netted 18 points and the Logan Grizzlies edged Richfield 47-45 Thursday at the Desert Hills Holiday Classic at Desert Hills High School. Jarica Steck’s 11 points led the Wildcats in defeat.
Dixie Tournament
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Jasmin Rangel and Taylor Chidester had 10 points apiece as the Manti Templars smacked South Summit 48-25 at the Dixie Tournament at Dixie High School Thursday.
Shannon Johnson Tournament
VERNAL, Utah-Nataly Dunka netted 25 points and the Wasatch Academy Tigers pounded Millard 45-29 Thursday at the Shannon Johnson Tournament at Uintah High School. Kobree Penney had 16 points in defeat for the Eagles.

DELTA, Utah-Ashlyn Banks led the way with 18 points and the Canyon View Falcons edged Delta 41-39 in non-region girls basketball action Thursday at the Palladium.
DRAPER, Utah-Riley Bluth stepped up with 12 points and the Draper APA Eagles downed Gunnison Valley 32-28 Thursday in non-region girls basketball action. Kennedi Knudsen had 10 points in the loss for the Bulldogs.
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-The Parowan Rams decimated North Sanpete 55-30 in non-region girls basketball action Thursday.
NEPHI, Utah-Hannah Anderson posted 14 points as the Stansbury Stallions got past Juab 38-33 in non-region girls basketball action Thursday. Willow Kay had 7 points for the Wasps in the loss.

MANTI, Utah-The top-ranked Juab Wasps dominated Manti 74-3 in a Region 14 dual Thursday night. The Wasps recorded nine pins in the rout with Ben Nielson, Cooper Ford, Ryler Blackett, Chase Ingram, Wyatt Holdaway, Cade Bowring, Will Harmon, Rylan Watts, and Blake Mangelson.

FILLMORE, Utah-The Millard Eagles recorded nine pins as they routed Gunnison Valley 68-6 in a non-region dual Thursday. The Eagles got pins from Camden Moat, Hector Martinez, Mark Roman, Mack Bray, Dylan Rees, Josh Whitaker, KC Whitaker, Jed DeGraffenreid, and John Whitaker. The Bulldogs lone points came from a pin by Carson Peterson.
