With the winter weather rolling in this week a couple of roads have already been affected.

Currently all vehicles traveling on SR-190 in Big Cottonwood Canyon or on SR-210 in Little Cottonwood Canyon are required to have either chains or four-wheel drive. It is expected that other canyon roads will soon be taking these precautions as well.

There is also a fire effecting the roadway on SR-72 near mile post 5 in Wayne County effecting both directions of traffic. As of 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 25 both directions are closed and drivers are being told to use an alternate rout.
