3A Second Round
OREM, Utah-The Richfield Wildcats downed Summit Academy 3-0 Tuesday in the second round of the 3-A state volleyball tournament at the UCCU Center. The Wildcats routed the Bears 25-14, 25-14 and 25-17 to get the straight sets victory.
OREM, Utah-The Grand Red Devils blitzed Delta 3-0 in the second round of the 3-A state volleyball tournament at the UCCU Center Tuesday. The Red Devils prevailed 25-17, 25-20 and 25-15 for the rout of the Rabbits.
OREM, Utah-The North Sanpete Hawks got past South Sevier 3-0 Tuesday in the second round of the 3-A state volleyball tournament. The Hawks downed the Rams 25-21, 25-17 and 25-23 to advance.
OREM, Utah-The Morgan Trojans pounded Juab 3-0 in the second round of the 3-A state volleyball tournament Tuesday. The Trojans bested the Wasps 25-13, 25-10 and 25-13 to advance.
3A State Volleyball Quarterfinals
OREM, Utah-The San Juan Broncos waxed North Sanpete 3-1 Tuesday in the 3-A state volleyball quarterfinals at the UCCU Center on the campus of Utah Valley University. The Broncos prevailed 25-19, 22-25, 25-19 and 25-18 to advance to the 9:30 am semifinal against Union Wednesday. North Sanpete meets Grand Wednesday at 9:30 am in the single loss semis.
OREM, Utah-The Richfield Wildcats smacked South Summit 3-0 in the 3-A state volleyball quarterfinals at the UCCU Center Tuesday. Richfield prevailed in straight sets, 25-15, 25-16 and 25-20 to best the green-clad Wildcats. The Wildcats next face Morgan Wednesday at 11:00 am in the state semifinals.
3A Consolation 1st Round
OREM, Utah-South Sevier swept Providence Hall 3-0 in the first round of the consolation bracket Tuesday. The Rams won 25-10, 25-18, 25-16. South Sevier advances to play region foe Emery in the second round of the consolation bracket at 8 am Wednesday at UVU.
OREM, Utah-The Emery Spartans knocked off Delta 3-1 in the first round of the consolation bracket to end Delta’s season Tuesday. Emery won 26-24, 23-25, 25-16, 25-19.
OREM, Utah-Grantsville swept Juab 3-0 Tuesday in the first round of the consolation bracket. The Lady Cowboys won 26-24, 25-17, 25-22 to advance and end Juab’s season. Grantsville plays Judge Memorial in the second round of the consolation bracket at 8 am Wednesday.
