Timpanogos Invitational

OREM, Utah-Friday, various Mid-Utah Radio Sports Network athletes competed at the Timpanogos XC Invitational at Lake Side Park in Orem.

The champion in the boys’ 3-mile race was Wasatch Academy’s Christoper Korir in a time of 15:42.90.

Additionally, Dason Day of Juab placed 17th (16:25.90) and North Sanpete’s Matt Hindes placed 18th (16:26.10).

Orange Peel of North Sanpete placed 20th (16:38.30) and Tyler Dinkel of Juab finished 30th (17:04.90).

Gage Cox of North Sanpete finished 37th (17:26.20) and Dallin Taylor of Juab placed 43rd (17:37.30).

Jared Braden of Juab placed 55th (18:12.20) while his teammates Joseph Petersen (18:43.20) and Talmage Day (18:48.40) placed 61st and 62nd respectively.

Levi Bowles of North Sanpete placed 63rd (18:52.30) and Morgan Bowles of North Sanpete finished 65th (18:58.20).

Thomas Covington of Juab placed 70th (19:52.10), Adrian Lemus of North Sanpete placed 71st (19:57.70) and North Sanpete’s Rylan Cook finished 76th (21:08.80).

For the girls, Eliza Mason of Lone Peak won the title in the 3-mile run (19:18.60). North Sanpete’s Tamsin Stewart placed 14th (20:50.40) and her teammate, Aubry Cook, finished 18th (21:23.50).

Madelyn Christensen of North Sanpete finished 29th (22:11.00) and her teammate, Rachael Jones placed 36th (22:30.70). Juab’s Whitlee Rosquist placed 39th (22:33.90) and her teammate, Cambree Olsen finished 46th (23:09.60).

MONTICELLO, Utah-Friday, North Sevier and Gunnison Valley’s boys and girls cross country teams represented Mid-Utah Radio Sports Network schools at the Loyd’s Lake Classic hosted by Monticello High School.

The 5000 meters were run by both genders. Grand’s Evan Ellison won the boys’ individual title (15:29.50) with North Sevier’s Keaten Hallows placing 16th (18:19.90) and Spencer Overly of Gunnison Valley placed 21st (18:46.70) with Tate Goble of North Sevier placing 28th (18:59.90). Ayden Crane of North Sevier finished 46th (21:10.80) and his teammate, Larry Crane, placed 48th (21:15.40).

Gavin Baxter of North Sevier placed 57th (23:01.10) and Gunnison Valley’s Dominic Pinkerton finished 63rd (27:17.90).

For the girls, Kylah Ricks of Grand (17:15.50) won the individual title. Aubree Woodruff of Gunnison Valley (24:57.70) placed 17th. Skylar Spainhower of North Sevier finished 29th (26:56.80) and her teamamte, Makelle Neuberger, placed 42nd (32:23.20).
