ROOSEVELT, Utah- The Carbon Dinos had three of the top five finishers at the Roosevelt City Golf Course Wednesday to win the first Region 12 Tournament of the 2019 season with a team score of 317.

Richfield placed second paced by Jaren Anderson with a team score of 336, followed by Grand County at 339, Emery placed fourth with a 398, South Sevier came in fifth with a 413 and San Juan rounded out the field with a 479.

The Wildcats’ Jaren Anderson tied for first in the event with Nick Olson of Carbon, each shooting a 77. Carbon’s Brady Gagon and Grand’s Luke Williams tied for third with a 79 and Kaden Slavensky of Carbon shot an 80 to place fifth. Brennan Hunt led South Sevier with an 81, coming in tied for sixth.
