GREENSBORO, N.C.-Tuesday, Utah Valley University’s baseball team became one of 51 NCAA Division I baseball programs to be honored with an ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award.

The Wolverines’ baseball program is the only one in the Beehive State to obtain this honor.

This commemorates the second time in the past three seasons that the Wolverines have earned this award as they also did so over the course of the 2016-17 season.

This award is bestowed upon high school or collegiate teams that have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 on a 4.0 scale during any given academic year.
