A Juab County Sheriff’s deputy is recovering from minor injuries after he was involved in an accident Tuesday.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Deputy Sickels was struck from behind by a semi truck as he was pulling off to check on some motorists on I-15.

Sickels was transported to the hospital, but later released with minor injuries.
