SALINA, Utah-Ryan Delgado netted three strikeouts in earning the win on the mound and Burke Mickelsen went 4 for 4 at the plate with 3 RBI as the North Sevier Wolves doubled up Emery 12-6 in non-region baseball action Thursday. Mickelsen’s hits included two triples while Chase Rasmussen and Stockton Andersen added doubles in the win for the Wolves.

Softball

Region 14

NEPHI, Utah-Lepeka Lututi went yard and the Union Cougars bested Juab 7-4 in Region 14 softball action Thursday. Kynlei Nelson added a double and Ally Rook earned the win in the circle for the Cougars.

SPANISH FORK, Utah-Delta pulled away from American Leadership Academy 7-5 in Region 14 softball action Thursday.

Region 15

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Addelyn Brotherson and Aubree Ison each homered twice while Ison added a double as the North Sanpete Hawks blanked San Juan 11-0 Thursday in the first game of a Region 15 softball doubleheader. Nakiah Taylor took the win in the circle for the Hawks and added a double, while Emma Wightman, Graciee Christiansen and Sarah Oldroyd each added doubles in the win for North Sanpete.

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Graciee Christiansen pitched a no-hitter to earn the win in the circle and Christiansen and Nakiah Taylor both homered twice as the North Sanpete Hawks completed a Region 15 softball doubleheader sweep of San Juan with a 16-0 win over the Broncos Thursday. Aubree Ison added another home run in the rout for the Hawks.

Non-Region

KAMAS, Utah-Indie Jones homered and earned the win in the circle as the South Summit Wildcats clobbered North Sevier 15-0 Thursday in non-region softball action.

Boys Soccer

Region 14

PRICE, Utah-Adam Morley, Austin Engar, Luis Estudillo and Parker Humes each scored as the Carbon Dinos outlasted Juab 4-3 in Region 14 boys soccer action Thursday. Brendon Allred, Jaxon Anderson and Narhan Saez all scored in the loss for the Wasps.

DELTA, Utah-Brayden Gonder found the net twice and Jager Springer added another goal as the Delta Rabbits edged Providence Hall 3-2 Thursday in Region 14 boys soccer action. Dallin Dodge and Hyrum Briganti scored in the loss for the Patriots.

Region 15

MOAB, Utah-Kane Scherer and Miguel Dominguez both scored as the Grand Red Devils blanked Manti 2-0 in Region 15 boys soccer action Thursday. Cameron Hoppenstaedt earned the shutout in victory for the Red Devils.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Brock Winter scored a pair of goals as the Emery Spartans outlasted Richfield 3-2 Thursday in Region 15 boys soccer action. Jaume Llabres scored both goals in defeat for the Wildcats.

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Kyle Thornberry amassed a hat trick as the North Sanpete Hawks pounded South Sevier 9-1 in Region 15 boys soccer action Thursday. Brady Jacobson, Dante Lowe, Luis Alderate, Mario Hernandez, Pablo Hernandez and Vance Strait also scored in the rout for the Hawks. Haden Sorensen found the net in defeat for the Rams.

Region 18

BEAVER, Utah-Jesus Magana scored twice as the Beaver Beavers stymied Diamond Ranch 3-1 Thursday in Region 18 boys soccer action. Preston Roberts added another goal in victory for Beaver.

PAROWAN, Utah-Aron Trejo and Jose Roman each scored twice as the Millard Eagles routed Parowan 6-0 in Region 18 boys soccer action Thursday. Braxton Robins and Daniel Gomez also scored in victory for the Eagles. Wyatt Alcala earned the shutout for Millard.
