NEPHI, Utah-Damon Davidson doubled as the Juab Wasps doubled up Carbon 4-2 Wednesday in Region 14 baseball action. Raidyn Steele added 12 strikeouts while taking the win on the mound for Juab. The Wasps improved to 9-0 in region play and secured the outright Region 14 Title.
Region 15
CASTLE DALE, Utah-Trever Trythall doubled twice and earned the win on the mound as the Manti Templars stymied Emery 7-2 in Region 15 baseball action Wednesday. Adam Huff added a double in the win for Manti.
Non-Region
FILLMORE, Utah-Shade Woodard’s 2-RBI single lifted Millard to an 8-7 win over Milford Wednesday in non-region baseball action. Jed DeGraffenried earned the win on the mound for the Eagles. Jarrett Sullivan tripled in the loss for the Tigers.
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Kanab scored 2 runs in the seventh, but it wasn’t enough as Dixie’s JV held on for the 4-2 win over the Cowboys in non-region baseball action Wednesday.
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Gentry Evans homered, tripled, and doubled while driving in 7 runs as Providence Hall beat North Sanpete 19-9 Wednesday in non-region baseball action. Tyler Hadley, Landon Milne and Ashton Osborne all doubled in the loss for the Hawks.
Softball
Region 15
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Emma Bailey and Addelyn Brotherson each hit home runs and the North Sanpete Hawks pulled away from Emery 14-4 in Region 15 softball action Wednesday. Aubree Ison doubled and drove in 4 runs and Bailey added two more doubles in the win. Nakiah Taylor earned the win inside the circle for North Sanpete.
Non-Region
FILLMORE, Utah-Shaylee Burraston homered and doubled as the Millard Eagles bested North Sevier 13-9 in non-region softball action Wednesday. Brinlee Stevens earned the win in the circle for the Eagles.
GRANTSVILLE, Utah-JaeLynn Delaney went yard and Maddison Peterson added a double as Grantsville doubled up Manti 4-2 Wednesday in non-region softball action. Peterson also took the win in the circle for Grantsville.
DELTA, Utah-Kristen Morgan homered and doubled as the Richfield Wildcats outlasted Delta 5-4 in non-region softball action Wednesday. Lexi Johnson doubled twice for the Rabbits in defeat.
GUNNISON, Utah-Katelynn Cherry doubled, helping the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs to a 12-2 rout of South Sevier Wednesday in non-region softball action. Kennedy Knudsen pitched a no-hitter to earn the win in the circle for the Bulldogs.
