2-A South

MILFORD, Utah-Alec Williams and Bryson Barnes each went yard as the Milford Tigers edged Parowan 10-9 Thursday in the first game of a 2-A South baseball doubleheader. Grayson Robb homered and Nate Townsend and Tanner Johnson each doubled in the loss for the Rams.

MILFORD, Utah-Hunter Willden posted six strikeouts and the Milford Tigers got past Parowan 2-0 to complete a 2-A South baseball doubleheader sweep of the Rams Thursday. Jarrett Sullivan tripled and Alec Williams doubled in the win for the Tigers.

Non-Region

GUNNISON, Utah-Ty Hill homered, leading the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs to a 12-1 rout of Manti in non-region baseball action Thursday. Janzen Keisel doubled twice and Kolton Petersen and Parx Bartholomew each added a double for the Bulldogs. Bartholomew also earned the win on the mound for Gunnison Valley. Dallin Rasmussen doubled in defeat for the Templars.

Softball

2-A South

PAROWAN, Utah-Kiarra Gurr, Madison Mathews and Madison Tilley each tripled as the Parowan Rams clobbered Milford 21-4 Thursday in 2-A South softball action. Mathews earned the win in the circle and Laci Sissener added a double in the rout for Parowan.

Non-Region

NEPHI, Utah-Keanna Williams doubled, drove in 3 runs and earned the win inside the circle as Juab beat North Sanpete 9-5 in non-region softball action Thursday. Ashlyn Dansie and Hanna Holden also doubled in the win for the Wasps. Aubree Ison homered and Emma Bailey and Nakiah Taylor each doubled in the loss.

Boys Soccer

Region 14

NEPHI, Utah-Taylor Farnsworth posted four goals and the Maeser Prep Lions pounded Juab 8-2 in Region 14 boys soccer action Thursday.

Region 15

MANTI, Utah-Jamie Vargas and Juan Tinoco each scored as the Manti Templars blanked North Sanpete 2-0 Thursday in Region 15 boys soccer action.

Region 18

HURRICANE, Utah-Bryan Ruiz and Parker Judy each found the net but it wasn’t enough as the Diamond Ranch Diamondbacks edged Gunnison Valley 3-2 in Region 18 boys soccer action Thursday.
