(Salt Lake City, UT) — Rocky Mountain Power has expanded its wildfire-related power shutoff watch and warning to include more than 18-thousand customers across Utah. The utility says customers in and around Cedar City, Delta, Enterprise, Valley, Gunnison, Milford, Moab, Panguitch, Price, Emery, Richfield and Vernal could lose power because of extreme wildfire conditions. Customers are urged to check their addresses online to see whether they are under a watch or warning. Rocky Mountain Power has also opened temporary resource centers to assist customers in affected communities.
