Iron County Threatened With Lawsuit By Its Own Commissioner

(Cedar City, UT) — An Iron County Commissioner says he plans to sue Iron County over how a meeting was conducted. Commissioner Paul Cozzens claims he and another official were excluded from a May 26th meeting. He says his suit is not for money, he just wants a judge to agree that the meeting was illegal. Cozzens says it was a closed door meeting, so he’s not currently allowed to discuss the specific subject. His impending litigation is leading to reprisals from his fellow commissioners. Cozzens might be stripped of some county liaison assignments.
