(Parowan, UT) — The small town of Parowan is now home to a two-headed cow. It was born on Friday at the Dry Lakes Ranch. It’s a very rare occurrence, but it does happen somewhere on earth just about every year. According to a 2018 study, about 35-million calves are born each year and one or two of them are born with two heads. In this case, the calf did not survive, but the ranch’s owners say they see the birth as a little blessing. The mother cow is said to be recovering and the calf’s body will be given to scientists for research.
