Two people are dead after a motorcycle collided with a truck in Millard County. The crash happened just before 5:00 p.m. yesterday on Highway 50 near Scipio when a westbound BMW K1600 motorcycle collided head on with an eastbound Ford F-250 box truck. According to the Utah Highway Patrol, the truck crossed over into the westbound lanes. The driver of the motorcycle, a 69-year-old male, and his passenger, a 70-year-old female, were killed on impact. The driver of the truck received minor injures and was treated at a local hospital. According to the Department of Public Safety, “speed and drowsy driving are suspected factors in the crash.”
