EPHRAIM, Utah-Tuesday, Snow College announced the hiring of Karen Johnson as the institution’s new athletic director.

Johnson has served alongside former athletic director Rob Nielson for the past six years as assistant athletic director at Snow and will take over for Nielson effective August 1.

Johnson is graduate of Southern Utah University, earning her bachelor’s degree in Dance Performance with a minor in Business Management and a Master’s in Arts Administration.

Johnson previously coached the Snow College Dance Team and has also worked in the Snow College Human Resource Office.
