(Junction, UT) — An audit is revealing issues with election administration in Wayne and Piute counties. The biennial audit of the whole state’s election systems found issues involving camera coverage of processing areas and post-election county audits. The findings noted the issues wouldn’t have negatively impacted election results, but “increases the risk of inaccurate or inappropriate election outcomes.” The audit found other issues in Piute County, including not making a ballot drop box available in Marysvale.
