(Ogden, UT) — State education officials are touting a new technology they say will help educators detect the presence of guns on Utah school campuses. Authorities say the Philadelphia-based firm that specializes in fire-detection technology has been installing its ZeroEyes technology that uses gun-detection software to help keep firearms from being brought into schools. The technology is currently up and running in Cache County, Carbon, Grand County, Juab, North Summit, South Summit, Provo, Wasatch and Waterford school districts.
