(West Valley City, UT) — Officials in West Valley City are sharing new evidence following the deaths of a family found inside their home on Tuesday. Police say the father allegedly killed his wife and four children before taking his own life. The sole survivor, a 17-year-old son, is in critical condition after suffering a gunshot wound. Police discovered the bodies after a welfare check was requested when the mother didn’t show up for work. Authorities have not yet found a clear motive for the killings and are awaiting autopsy results. The family’s names have not been released.
