Mitt Romney Says Goodbye To Senate

(Washington, DC) — Mitt Romney is saying goodbye to the U.S. Senate as his six-year term comes to an end. The one-time presidential nominee gave a farewell address on the Senate floor yesterday, where he reflected on his term and highlighted his success passing several bipartisan initiatives. Many of Romney’s fellow lawmakers, both Republican and Democrat, also delivered remarks celebrating his tenure in the Senate. Romney, a one-time Republican presidential nominee who ran against former President Barack Obama in 2012, was elected to represent Utah in 2018.
