(Salt Lake City, UT) — K-through-12 enrollment in Utah is seeing its biggest enrollment drop in a decade. There are over 48-hundred fewer kids going to public schools this fall than there were at the start of the school year in 2023. The number accounts for traditional and charter students. Charter schools alone have seen an increase since the beginning of 2021, at a roughly five-percent rate.
