Ephraim and Gunnison were approved by the Utah Inland Port Authority this week to be “Public Infrastructure Districts” under the UIPA umbrella. This partnership could lead to state funding, low-interest borrowing and tax benefits to help new businesses and industries flourish in the two cities.
