Non-Conference

SCRANTON, Pa.-Donnie Smith completed 18 of 30 passes for 297 yards, 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions and the No. 3 Snow Badgers outlasted No. 13 Lackawanna (Pa.) 43-40 Saturday in non-conference football play.

Adonis Tillman and Isaiah Lauofo each ran for scores in victory for the Badgers and Kache Kaio (4 rec, 96 yards, TD) and Reggie Frischknecht (4 rec, 62 yards, TD) also had solid showings for Snow in the win.

BJ Inmon (2 interceptions), Brooks Esplin (interception), Jesse Wilson, Junior Kaufusi, Marrio Williams Jr. and Bryan R. Cuthbertson (sack apiece) led the Snow defense.

Wyatt Hagan (19-33, 279 yards, 4 TD’s/3 INT’s) led the Falcons in the loss.

Snow improves to 4-0 on the season and returns to action September 28 at El Dorado, Kan. against the Butler CC Grizzlies.

Women’s Volleyball

SLCC Tournament

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah-The Snow Badgers outlasted Eastern Arizona 3-2 Saturday at the SLCC Tournament in women’s volleyball play. The Badgers got past the Gila Monsters 25-18, 10-25, 14-25, 27-25, 15-13.

TAYLORSVILILE, Utah-Sara Gamboa posted 13 kills and the No. 9 Trinity Valley Cardinals swept Snow 3-0 in women’s volleyball play Saturday at the SLCC Tournament. The Cardinals overpowered the Badgers 25-19, 25-23, 25-20 to prevail in straight sets.

Men’s Soccer

RANGELY, Colo.-Max Mayer and Jack Cook each scored and the Snow Badgers blanked Colorado Northwestern 2-0 Saturday in SWAC men’s soccer play. Mathias Christensen earned the shutout in the net in victory for the Badgers.

Women’s Soccer

RANGELY, Colo.-Liv Harding, Emily Morrill, Ally Johnson and Bailee Ballard each scored and the No. 12 Snow Badgers dismantled Colorado Northwestern 4-1 in SWAC women’s soccer play Saturday. Lilly Wittwer scored in the loss for the Spartans.
