(St. George, UT) — Much of southern and western Utah is under a Red Flag Warning today. The National Weather Service sent out the alert that begins at eleven a.m. today and lasts through the end of the day. St. George, Zion National Park, and other areas will be facing fire weather during this time, meaning forecasters expect high winds and low humidity. Wind gusts could get as high as 40 miles per hour in some areas. The service warned that any new fires that begin could spread rapidly.
