PRICE, Utah-Bridger Chappell homered and the Panguitch Bobcats pulverized Pinnacle 31-3 Wednesday in 1A South baseball play. Daxton Miller posted three strikeouts in two innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bobcats. Riley Davis drove in a run in the loss for the Panthers.
GREEN RIVER, Utah-Braige Millett drove in a pair of runs and the Piute Thunderbirds blanked Green River 9-0 in 1A South baseball play Wednesday. Bodie Gayler, Nash Fautin, Blake Dalton and Pendleton Bowler drove in an additional run apiece in victory for Piute. Brodee Montague posted seven strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Thunderbirds.
BICKNELL, Utah-Boede Cox, Waylon Spencer, Bronx Withers and Hogan Harris drove in two runs apiece and the Valley Buffalos routed Wayne 12-5 Wednesday in 1A South baseball play. Harris netted six strikeouts in four innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Buffalos. Hunter Robins, Russell Van Dyke, Rigg Brinkerhoff and Canyon Daley each drove in a run in defeat for the Badgers.
