BICKNELL, Utah-Ricardo Navarro homered and the Bryce Valley Mustangs blanked Wayne 10-0 in 1A South baseball play Wednesday. Antonio Moreno, Rocco Perez and Klincey Richards also drove in a run apiece for the Mustangs. Perez posted 13 strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Bryce Valley.
PANGUITCH, Utah-Daxton Miller homered and the Panguitch Bobcats edged Bryce Valley 5-4 Wednesday in 1A South baseball play. Quade Veater drove in two more runs in victory for the Bobcats. Nash Fautin drove in two runs in the loss for Piute while Blake Dalton and Braige Beus added an additional RBI each for the Thunderbirds in defeat.
GREEN RIVER, Utah-Waylon Spencer drove in three runs and the Valley Buffalos blanked Green River 11-0 in 1A South baseball play Wednesday. Weston Baird and Bronx Withers added two more RBI apiece in the win for Valley and Holden Harris drove in another run for the Buffalos in the win. Harris posted for strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Valley.
