BEAVER, Utah-Jesus Magana and Nathan Brown each scored as the Beaver Beavers doubled up APA West Valley 2-1 Saturday in the 2-A boys soccer state quarterfinals. Beaver next faces Rowland Hall Friday at 4:00 pm in the state semifinals at Juan Diego High School.
3-A Quarterfinals
DELTA, Utah-Tristan Anderson posted a shutout and the Delta Rabbits blanked South Summit 1-0 in the 3-A boys soccer state quarterfinals Saturday. Delta next draws Judge Friday at 4:00 pm at Alta High School in the state semifinals.

2-A Playoffs
GUNNISON, Utah-Emily Brackett went yard and doubled as the Gunnison Bulldogs routed St. Joseph 18-0 Saturday in the first round of the 2-A state playoffs. Gunnison next faces Altamont Thursday at 10:00 am in the state quarterfinals at the Spanish Fork Complex.
GUNNISON, Utah-Lizzy Smith homered and tripled as the Altamont Longhorns waxed Kanab 13-3 in the 2-A state playoffs Saturday.
3-A Playoffs
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Delaney Ekins posted 3 RBI and the Delta Rabbits advanced to the 3-A state softball consolation bracket with a 17-6 rout of Summit Academy Saturday. Delta will play Thursday at 4:00 pm against the loser of the Manti-Grand game.
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Sarah Oldroyd and Grace Christiansen each went yard as the North Sanpete Hawks pummeled Delta 24-2 Saturday in the first round of the 3-A state playoffs. North Sanpete next plays Carbon Thursday at 12:00 pm in the state quarterfinals at the Spanish Fork Complex.

GUNNISON, Utah-John Sims and Tavin Ott each tripled and the Kanab Cowboys stunned 2-A #1 Gunnison 4-3 Saturday in the 2-A state playoffs. Kanab next advances to the quarterfinals Thursday at Ken Price Ballfield in Murray against Enterprise. Avery Anderson had an RBI triple in defeat for the Bulldogs, while Janzen Keisel netted a pair of doubles and Parx Bartholomew added a double for the Bulldogs.
GUNNISON, Utah-Janzen Kiesel, Michael Hansen and Ty Hill each doubled as the Gunnison Bulldogs smacked Layton Christian 16-1 to advance to the consolation bracket Thursday at Cottonwood High School at 1:30 pm.
SALINA, Utah-Hayes Monroe went yard and Slade Sheriff added a double as the Millard Eagles routed Duchesne 17-5 at North Sevier High School Saturday in the 2-A state playoffs at North Sevier High School. Dillon Lund added a double and Carson Teeples earned the win on the mound for Millard.
SALINA, Utah-Burke Mickelsen and Rylan Crane each doubled as the North Sevier Wolves edged Millard 8-7 in the 2-A state playoffs Saturday. Carson Teeples and Hayes Monroe doubled in defeat for the Eagles. The Wolves next face Beaver in the 2-A state quarterfinals at Ken Price Ballpark Thursday at 10:00 am.
BEAVER, Utah-Porter Hollingshead went yard and belted a pair of doubles, while Crayton Hollingshead, Jake Barrett and Ryker Albrecht also doubled, helping the Beaver Beavers to a 19-0 rout of Monticello Saturday during the 2-A state playoffs.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Emmitt Hafen went yard and doubled and the Richfield Wildcats pounded Union 11-3 in the 3-A state playoffs Saturday. Hafen also earned the win on the mound for Richfield while Trey Roundy added a double in victory for the Wildcats. Richfield next faces Manti Thursday at 1:30 pm in the state quarterfinals at Kearns High School.
NEPHI, Utah-Dallin Rasmussen had a key RBI double in the 7th Inning to help the Manti Templars double up Juab 6-3 Saturday in the 3-A state playoffs.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Morgan Albrecht tripled and earned the win on the mound as the Richfield Wildcats pounded Delta 7-1 in the 3-A state playoffs Saturday. Leif Robinson, Payson Reed and Trey Roundy all added doubles in the win for the Wildcats.
NEPHI, Utah-Matt Nelson came through with a key RBI single in the 7th Inning and Trevor Trythall did well on the mound when called upon as the Manti Templars upset Summit Academy 7-6 in 8 innings Saturday at Juab High School to advance to the 3-A state quarterfinals.
