Governor Cox Vetoes Seven Bills During Recent Session

(Salt Lake City, UT) — In the latest session Governor Cox has vetoed seven bills, the second most in at least the past quarter century. The majority of them were denied because he believed it was unnecessary to craft legislation around the items proposed. In total five-hundred 55 bills were signed. Cox expressed in a veto letter to congress to cut back on the volume of legislation passed in hopes of the bills receiving more time in the legislature.
