LOGAN, Utah-Monday, Utah State men’s basketball swept the Mountain West Conference’s weekly awards with graduate senior guard Darius Brown II named as the conference player of the week and redshirt freshman guard Mason Falslev named the freshman of the week.

Brown and Falslev played key roles in the Aggies’ 68-63 win over then-No. 19 San Diego State last Tuesday at Logan.

In the win over the Aztecs, Brown posted a season-best 25 points. This season, Brown is averaging 11.9 points and 4.1 rebounds per game for the Aggies.

Falslev posted 10 points in the win over San Diego State. The native of Benson, Utah and former Sky View High School star, contributes 11.3 points and 4.4 rebounds per game this season for Utah State.

Brown, Falslev, and their Utah State teammates return to action Tuesday at Fresno State.
