(Salt Lake City, UT) — This February looks to be one of Utah’s wettest on record. The National Weather Service’s Climate Prediction Center recently issued its three-month outlook for this spring. That report shows much of the state has a greater probability of above-normal temperatures. All Utah is showing equal chances for precipitation. Meteorologists say that about 95 percent of the state’s water supply is from the snowpack and snowmelt process. More than two-thirds of this year’s snowpack collection is from January 1st. March, April and May are typically three of the state’s wettest months.
