(Cedar City, UT) — The Southern Mountains are expected to get a large amount of snow later today. The National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory for portions of southern Utah that include the mountain ranges and Brian Head. Most of the snow will fall in higher elevations and up to a foot of the white stuff is possible. Forecasters noted even more, up to 18 inches, could fall in the Tushar Range. The service didn’t mention anything about difficulties while traveling other than to expect winter driving conditions.
