(Salt Lake City, UT) — Democrats took their first step in attempting to win a Utah Senate seat for the first time since 1970. Caroline Gleich, Archie A. Williams III [[ the third ]] and Laird Fetzer Hamblin all filed to be the Democrats nominee in the 2024 election. The primary is scheduled for June 25th, and the winner will be the first democrat running for senate since Jenny Wilson in 2018, who lost to the now retiring Mitt Romney.
