(Nephi, UT) — Five people were injured and one person was killed in a car crash near Nephi. It happened on I-15 early yesterday afternoon when a car was rear-ended in a construction zone, where a previous crash in the area had caused traffic to back up. In addition to the fatality, the other occupants of the car that was rear-ended suffered injuries ranging from minor to extremely critical. The two people driving the vehicle that crashed into the back of the car suffered minor injuries, and a portion of southbound I-15 was temporarily closed after the wreck.
