(Bountiful, UT) — Kathleen Johnson Eyring, wife of President Henry B. Eyring, second counselor in the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will be laid to rest this weekend. She died surrounded by friends and family in Bountiful on Sunday at age 82. She played an active role in the church, teaching lessons and producing a newsletter for her congregation. A public viewing will be held Friday from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary on North Main Street in Bountiful. The funeral will be held the following day at 11 a.m. in the Mueller Park 5th Ward building on East 1975 South in Bountiful.
