(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah Congressman John Curtis will not run for the U.S. Senate seat Mitt Romney will vacate 15 month from now. The Republican said on Monday he’ll run for a fifth term representing Utah’s Third Congressional District. Curtis said in a Deseret News op-ed he’ll “always be thankful to so many” who reached out to encourage him to run. But he said running for the Senate doesn’t align with his personal priorities.
