SPRINGVILLE, Utah-Hai Trihn scored twice and the Wasatch Academy Tigers smacked Merit 4-1 Monday in Region 17 boys soccer action. Ben Cottam and David Cottam each added goals in the win for the Tigers.

Softball

Region 14

PROVO, Utah-Kaitlyn Sperry tripled to lead the Juab Wasps to an 8-3 win over Providence Hall in Region 14 softball action Monday. Keanna Williams earned the win in the circle.

Region 15

MANTI, Utah-Kiana Pogroszewski posted nine strikeouts to earn the win in the circle as the Manti Templars downed South Sevier 9-3 in Region 15 softball action Monday.

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Aubree Ison and Gracee Christiansen each homered as the North Sanpete Hawks topped Emery 11-5 in Region 15 softball action Monday. Ellie Gillins earned the win in the circle and she and Kelby Henry added doubles in the victory.
